সাম্যবাদে বিশ্বাসী আদর্শিক অবস্থান থেকে আমরা খবর প্রকাশে অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক (inclusive) হতে চাই; শিশু ও নারী এবং তৃতীয় লিঙ্গ ও অন্যভাবে পিছিয়ে থাকা জনগোষ্ঠীকে আমরা সংবাদ ও মতামত প্রবাহের আওতায় নিয়ে আসতে চাই। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, এই অন্তর্ভুক্তি ব্যক্তি-সমাজ-রাষ্ট্রের প্রকৃত উন্নয়নে ভূমিকা রাখবে।

সমাজে বিদ্যমান কুসংস্কার ও পশ্চাৎপদতাকে চ্যালেঞ্জ ও তা দূর করে একটি বিজ্ঞানমনস্ক ও আধুনিক সমাজ গড়ে তোলার মাধ্যমে রাষ্ট্রের উন্নয়ন সহযোগী হতে চাই আমরা। এজন্যে নারীর ক্ষমতায়ন এবং শিশু ও তরুণসহ সমাজের সব মানুষের মতপ্রকাশের স্বাধীনতার পক্ষেও আমাদের দৃঢ় অবস্থান।

বাংলা ভাষা, বাংলাদেশ ও মুক্তিযুদ্ধ আমাদের নিরন্তর প্রেরণার উৎস। মুক্তিযুদ্ধের মহান আদর্শে অনুপ্রাণিত রাষ্ট্র গঠনে ভূমিকা রাখতে চায় টক অব দ্য টাইম।

সর্বোপরি, বাংলাদেশ ও দেশের সংবিধান এবং বিদ্যমান আইনের প্রতি শ্রদ্ধাশীল থেকে বস্তুনিষ্ঠ ও ইতিবাচক সাংবাদিকতার চর্চা ও একে উৎসাহিত করার প্রত্যয়ে পথ চলতে চায় টক অব দ্য টাইম।
